As Head of Real Estate at HSD Holdings, Brian Horowitz oversees the firm’s entire real estate portfolio, focusing on asset management, acquisitions, and value optimization. With decades of experience in real estate investment, development, leasing and operations, Brian plays a pivotal role in executing HSD Holdings’ strategic vision and maximizing the performance of its real estate assets.
Brian began his career after earning a Business Degree in Finance and Business Law from Long Island University on an academic scholarship. He quickly established himself as an entrepreneur, founding a commercial flooring contracting business, which he scaled to over $4 million in annual sales, making it one of the New York Tri-State area’s most successful specialty flooring firms at that time.
In 1996, Brian transitioned into real estate full-time, joining Brenner Real Estate Group, one of South Florida’s leading private real estate firms. Over his eight-year tenure, he held senior leadership roles, including Director of Property Management, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Development. His expertise in property repositioning, tenant relations, leasing, renovations, CAM recovery, development, repositioning and environmental compliance helped drive significant asset appreciation and operational efficiency.
Brian later co-founded Zenith Realty Investments I, a privately held real estate investment partnership, where he was instrumental in acquiring, developing, and managing 850,000 square feet of commercial properties, with a total valuation of $100 million. His expertise in deal structuring, financing, leasing, redevelopment, rezoning, budgeting, and construction management played a key role in delivering strong investor returns and successfully completing the firm’s acquisition and disposition strategy.
Brian then was actively involved in real estate consulting, asset repositioning, and investment partnerships, contributing to acquisitions exceeding $45 million. At HSD Holdings, he continues to drive strategic real estate initiatives, leveraging his deep industry expertise to maximize asset value, enhance operational efficiency, and identify high-yield investment opportunities.
